Carl Shaws team continued their impressive run of results with a superb 3-0 win at Undy Athletic on Saturday afternoon.
The win saw the team win 4 out of their last 5 games and moved the Reds up to 8th in Welsh League Division One.
With lots of work carried out in the last year at The Causeway due to Tier 2 regulations and the playing surface was in great condition for a fast paced game and the teams didnt disappoint with a great end to end game at a high tempo for the 90 minutes.
The hosts started the game with the better chances with the majority of their play going through talented left winger Callum Woods.
The best chance for Undy saw a flowing move ending with usually prolific marksman Gareth Cullimore but his header flew just over the bar.
The visitors playing in their yellow away kit slowly started to get a hold of the game before the interval with the game set up nicely for the second period.
HT 0-0
Shortly after the restart Shaw was enforced to make a change with captain Rory Healey again pulling up with his hamstring, Ian Hillier took his place with Rob Thomas slotting into the midfield alongside Keiran Williams.
It wasnt long before the substitute made his mark with another superb header to add to his portfolio from a Steve Davey corner on the hour mark for a 1-0 lead.
Luke Jones was replaced after another excellent performance up top, Cam Harris his replacement.
It was another almost instant impact from the sub with a counter attack finished by Harris from close range for the all important second goal.
Harris then had the final say when another fast counter saw him released the third substitute 17 year old Jared Lake, again he finished confidently for 3-0 to cap off a superb cameo.
